Coldest places in India today- Punjab, Haryana, UP among the top

Bathinda was the coldest place in Punjab,  at 1.2 C, while Sirsa was the coldest in Haryana, with 3C

Gurdaspur has experienced a low of 2 C, while Ludhiana had 5.8 C and Patiala with 4.8 C in Punjab

Narnaul has experienced 4 C, Hisar with 4.5 C, Bhiwani and Jhajjar had a low of 6.9 C, and 5.7 C respectively in Haryana

Meanwhile, Chandigarh recorded a 6.6 C

IMD forecasts cold day conditions in some parts of Uttar Pradesh (January 3-7) issuing a red warning
